Product Description
Fire-resistant mica tape is made of mica paper (phlogopite paper, muscovite paper and synthetic mica paper) which is cut an processed into belted product after being baked and dried by the electricians with alkali free glass cloth and organic silicone. It is featured in good insulation, fire resistance, good softness, ease of wrapping wires and cables. Hence, it is applicable for main fire-resistant insulation layers of various fire-resistant wires and cables.
Fire-resistant mica tape for wires and cables is mainly classified into category A and B according to its burning level; herein, the maximum fire-resistant temperature of the products in the category A may reach 1,250ºC, and the products in the category B are also able to normally work under the flame of 850ºC for over 90 minutes. This kind of product is applicable to warehouse, ships, petroleum platforms, high temperature electric cookers, elevators, subways, fire alarm system, control system of airplane, high-rising and super high rising buildings, and other facilities.
