Intumescent seals
All the seals can be supplied with adhesive tape on one side, The tape is applied directly and automatically to the seal during production of the same. The seals with adhesive are attached easily and rapidly.
Characteristic of expanding significantly in volume when exposed to elevated temperatures. They must therefore be incombustible or flame retardant. As well as heat resistance, they must also offer a good mechanical resistance, . They must therefore simplify installation on frames at normal atmospheric and operating temperatures. But at the same time, remain securely in place during the expansion plase of the same, due to the effect of the heat and /or the fire at high temperatures. In the other words, following expansion the seals must remain in position to seal off the rooms while withstanding the mechanical stresses to which they are subjected as a result of the fire.
The seal will start to expand at the temperature 260 celsius degress, and the main part expand temperature is 370 degree, and it can expand 6 times.
