Product Description
The Float Collar is run in a casing assembly, usually several joints above the Float Shoe. It serves as an extra back pressure valve sealing against pressures from blow while running the assembly and after the cementing job. Internal latch and valve are readily drillable. Its capability of back-pressure is over 25MPa. Like the Float Collar, the float shoe also has a back-pressure valve to prevent back flow. It permits cement to run through side ports when the nose of the shoe is on the bottom. Inner valve and bottom guides are all made of drillable material. Its capability of back-pressure is over 25MPa.
