What is Etched finish?
The process of etching is achieved by applying a protective acid-resistant solution onto polished areas, monitored through a mask, and then etching the unprotected areas with an acid solution. Etching removes a thin stainless steel layer and imparts a textured finish to the surface.
Following etching, the surface of objects can undergo further treatment. Etched stainless steel sheets can undergo various intricate processes, including localized patterning, wire drawing, gold inlay, partial titanium plating, and more.
