Minocycline hydrochloride is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is effective against Staphylococcus aureus that is sensitive or resistant to tetracycline; it is effective against Staphylococcus viridans, Actinomyces stellate, Pneumococcus and bacterial-like microorganisms, and Neisseria gonorrhoeae. The effect is slightly stronger than other tetracyclines, and the antibacterial strength against Escherichia coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Shigella, Klebsiella, and Pseudomonas is similar to that of tetracyclines. Its hydrochloride is commonly used, which is yellow crystalline powder, odorless, bitter in taste, and can cause deterioration when exposed to light. 1.Minocycline hydrochloride is a semisynthetic tetracycline antibiotic. Its antibacterial action is similar to doxycycline, with high efficiency and long effect. Among tetracycline, this product has the strongest antibacterial effect.
