Pole line hardware accessories FR type stock bridge vibration damper
FR Type Vibration Damper for ADSS/OPGW cables, with tuning fork structure of Damper Weight, is validated by China Electric Power Research Institute that there are four frequencies between 5~150HZ, and its vibration range is wider than FG Damper or FD Damper. Plenty of Vibration Dampers have been installed on ADSS cables.
Material:
- Damper weight-Hot dip galvanized cast iron
- Messenger Wire-19 strand galvanized steel wires
- Helical Rods-Aluminium Alloy.
Application Guide:
1. Vibration Damper can't be directly installed on the OPGW cables, installed with Helical Rods.
2. Calculate the installation distance, if it is within the Helical Rods, then installed as usual (Installed on Helical Rods directly). If the installation position of the Vibration Damper is outside of the Helical Rods, you should install Helical Rods. The distance between the end of the Vibration Damper and the Protection Rods must be more than 70mm.
3. The big Damper Weight of low frequency is close to the pole or tower.
4. Confirm the quantity per span length according to cable strength, span length, and topography.
