Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) is a thermoplastic engineering plastic that combines the superior properties of all plastics, including impact resistance, wear resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, self-lubricating, and impact absorption. It is currently the highest value among all existing plastics.
1. IMPACT RESISTANT MATERIAL - UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) is a lightweight, abrasion resistant rigid plastic with increased tensile strength and superior abrasion resistance than typical LDPE and HDPE plastics. Our uhmw polyethylene sheets are durable to last.
2. THE RIGHT SIZE - The package includes a total of 2 packs of uhmw plastic sheets, each measuring approximately 12 x 12 inches and 1/2 inch thick, a universal size for many everyday household projects, not too large or too small.
3. EASY WORKABILITY - With excellent shock resistance and thermal insulation, this polyethylene sheet is very easy to work with, allowing you to retrofit to suit your project. It cuts smoothly with a saw or can be carved with a sharp knife and drilled easily.
