Falling Weight Impact Tester

Overview
The machine is widely used to measure the impact toughness of various plastic pipes (such as water supply and drainage pipes, sewage pipes, gas pipes, communication pipes, such as PVC and PE). It is an ideal test instrument for testing institutions, production units, building materials industry and scientific research institutions. This product has passed the European Union CE certification.
It is used to determine the resistance to external blows of thermoplastics pipes of circular cross-section. Test pieces are subject to blow from a falling striker, of specified mass and shape, dropped from a known height onto specified position around the circumference of the test piece. The true impact rate of the batch, or production run from an extruder, is estimated. The maximum value acceptable for the TIR is taken to be 10%.

Characters
1.The function of anti-rebound device has the catching rate of 100%. The import AC servo system will guarantee the high locating precision and fast rising speed.
2.The impact height may be set by user, also the impact height may be calibrated automatically.
3.Automatic personal safeguards are provided in this instrument including specimen door, anti-shock and striker window safeguard etc.
4. The lifting height is automatically calibrated, and the calibration accuracy is within ± 2mm;
5. Combined impact hammer structure, the weight of impact hammer can be adjusted by weight.
6. Pneumatic anti secondary impact capture device, which can adjust the working air pressure according to the needs to improve the reliability of the capture device.
7. The assembled combined V-type sizing block is designed to adapt to different pipe diameters and plate samples with different thicknesses. After selecting special accessories for safety helmet, the impact test of safety helmet can be carried out.
8. The sample is supported by twin screw, which is stable and rigid.
