COMPOSITION:
Each 1ml contains: Albendazole 25mg
DESCRIPTION:
Albendazole is a broad spectrum dewormer which belongs to the group
of Benzimidazole-derivatives. It is active against gastro-intestinal
roundworms, lungworms and tapeworms in cattle, sheep, and goats.
2.5% liquid is also active against eggs of roundworms and liver
flukes (not against immature liver flukes).
INDICATION:
Prophylactics and treatment of worm infections in cattle, calves,sheep,
and goats like: Gastro- intestinal worm: Bunostomum, Cooperia,
Chabertia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia,
Strongyloides and Trichostrongylus spp. Liver-fluke: Adult Fasciola hepatica.
Lung worms: Dictyocaulus viviparus and D.filaria.
Tapeworms: Moniezia spp.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Administration in the first 45 days of gestation.
Side-effects
Hypersensitivity reaction.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For oral administration.
Goats and sheep:1ml.per 5kg. body weight.
For liver-fluke:1ml.per 2.5kg. body weight.
Calves and cattle: 1ml.per 3kg. body weight.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat: 12 days
Milk: 4 days
STORAGE:
Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight and the temperature not
exceeding 30 degrees.
Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
