Component:
Active substance: 1 ml consists of 215.2 mg of Cerebrolysin concentrate (complex of peptides derived from the pig brain tissue) in aqueous solution. The active fraction of Cerebrolysin is represented by peptides, whose molecular weight does not exceed 10,000 daltons.
Character:
Solution for injection.
It is a pale yellow clear liquid.
Indications:
Cerebrolysin Injection is indicated in:
Primary dementia (such as Alzheimer's);
Vascular dementia (such as ischemic stroke) and cognitive dysfunction caused by moderate and mild stroke;
Dementia of various genesis;
Traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries.
Precautions:
1. Allergic to brain protein hydrolysate;
2. First trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding women;
3. Grand mal seizures and status epilepticus;
4. Severe renal dysfunction.
Medication for special population:
The injection cannot be transfused in the same vial as the balanced amino acid injection.
Drug interaction:
The combination of brain protein hydrolysate with citicoline, compound Salvia miltiorrhiza and vitamin B12 has synergistic effect and can improve the curative effect.
