The moisture migration of wood mainly contains two aspects: surface water evaporation and internal moisture migrates from the inner to the surface. Three factors will be considered in the conventional drying, they are air temperature, air humidity and circulation velocity. The ambient air pressure is one of the most important factors that may greatly affect the moisture migration speed in wood. The migration speed increased as air pressed decreased when other factors keep the same. Therefore, the vacuum drying has good quick drying effect.
