Breeding BOX
PRODUCT INSTRUCTION:
5# plastic square plate in mealworm breeding industry can be used: length 600MM*width 400MM*height 90MM. It's portable, recycled, easy to be cleaned and disinfected with long lifespan as shown in below picture. (Some small-scale breeders use feeding boxes made of plank and paperboard, which is short-life, vulnerable, unable to be washed and disinfected.
1)Eclosion boxes
It can be also called as feeding boxes. After the tenebrio molitos pupate, pick out the pupa worms and put them in eclosion boxes for eclosion to become adult worms
2)Egg holding tray
Egg holding tray is also breeding box: length 600MM* width 400MM * height 900MM. Being larger than adult sifter, it can be matched for use (as shown in above picture).
3)Breeding box of adult worms
After picking out adult worms, keep them in breeding boxes temporarily as the transition before using worm sifter. Large plastic basin can also be used to prevent adult worms escaping.
