COMFORT BASIC is an energy-saving and efficient hot water circulation pump with a brass pump casing. This pump is suitable for one to two households and can immediately provide hot water to all faucets.

Grundfos COMFORT is an efficient circulator designed for hot-water recirculation in residential buildings with a dedicated return line. It is compatible with all types of water heater tanks, tankless systems, solar or heat pumps regardless of whether the system has mixing or tampering valves installed.

The pump features a compact housing and a permanent magnet with an integrated control unit. The spherical rotor, equipped with an impeller, ensures optimal functionality supported by a robust single-bearing ball system. The drinking-water approved brass pump housing guarantees both safety and reliability.

COMFORT circulates hot water to the water facility and returns it to the water heater by using the return pipe (5) to the hot water supply pipe (6), thereby providing instant hot water on the water facility and avoiding heat loss caused by heat dissipation.
In a system without hot water recirculation, stagnant hot water will eventually lose heat and be discharged before fresh hot water is sent to the faucet.
The water circulation in the hot water recirculation system is achieved by a dedicated pump (3), which is usually installed in the return water pipeline. Due to the presence of dissolved oxygen and salts in tap water, pump components exposed to water must be made of corrosion-resistant materials.
