A thermographic camera, also known as an infrared camera or thermal imaging camera, is a device that utilizes infrared radiation to produce images, similar to how a regular camera captures images using visible light. While a conventional camera detects wavelengths in the 400-700 nm range, infrared cameras are sensitive to wavelengths ranging from approximately 1,000 nm (1 micrometer) to 14,000 nm (14 micrometers).
