Welded hydraulic cylinders
A Double Action Hydraulic Cylinder is a cylinder in which the working fluid acts alternately on both sides of the piston. It has a port at each end, supplied with hydraulic fluid for both the retraction and extension of the piston.
Where is a Double Action Cylinder Used?
- This is the workhorse of cylinder types and used anywhere a load is "hydraulically" moved or controlled in both directions.
- Raising and lowering a boom or opening and closing a gate are a couple of applications.
