Product Description
High-quality green petroleum coke is taken into Acheson furnace for graphitization process with temperature around 2500-3600ºC. The product has higher degree of graphitization with nitrogen content is lower than 300ppm. This product, with lower sulpur and ash content, is ideal recarburizer for steelmaking and foundry industries.
1. Widely used in steel smelting works, precision castings as carbon raisers;
2. Used in foundries as modifying agent to increase the quantities of speroidal graphite or improve the structure of gray iron casting thus upgrade the class of gray iron casting;
3. Used to produce cathod, carbon electrode, graphite electrode and carbon paste;
4. Refractory materials, etc.
