The cryogenic valve is a specialized component engineered for optimal performance in systems using ethylene, liquefied natural gas, and other chemical apparatuses. It is categorized primarily into two types: the cryogenic floating ball valve and the cryogenic standing ball valve, each designed for specific industrial applications. The long-necked structure is generally not utilized for environments where the temperature exceeds -50ºC, whereas it finds its application in conditions where the temperature is below -50ºC. This design consideration is focused on safeguarding the stuffing box by positioning it at a distance from extremely cold areas. To ensure the effective sealing of the stuffing, cold insulation materials can be applied to mitigate the loss of cold energy. This valve type is specifically tailored for ethylene, liquefied natural gas, and other chemical processes.
