High precision chrome steel balls flashing/grinding machine

Chrome steel ball grinding machines are widely used for making ceramic ball,stainless steel ball,mild steel ball,copper ball,plastic
ball etc. Take mild steel ball as example,the whole processes include follwing steps: The wire rod is cut into fixed lengths and formed
by heading machine. The heading machine press the wire rod into a die to form a spherical shape,which is called raw ball. A raw
ball has burrs and its surface is uneven. Then the flashing machine removes any surface unevenness.the balls are processed
once again and again.After flashing,the burrs have all been removed. In order to make sure the balls are strong and hard enough
,heat treatment is necessary.To avoid breaking,oil is used instead of water,the balls are heated up to around 800 degree and then
quenched to around 50 degree.After that,the balls are heated again to around 150 degree.By conducting the heat treatment,the
constitution of the steel changes,and the balls become hard and strong. After heat treatment,the balls should be processed by
grinding machine,the balls are almost spherical and their surface is smooth. To get high quality balls,lapping process should be
applied again,it removes any fine unevenness,making the surface sparkling and the ball closer to spherical.The ball surface is
like a mirror after lapping. Finally it is the cleaning and inspection. ultrasonic waves is used to wash off any dirt or oil stuck to
the balls.after inspection,the balls are ready for packing.
