The alkaline components in concrete materials can react chemically with 0.04% CO2 concentration in the atmosphere under natural conditions, and the process is very slow. However, through technical measures such as pressure and temperature increase, concrete carbonization can be quickly achieved. If used for carbonation curing and prefabricated products of precast concrete components, relatively high strength can be quickly obtained.
The high pressure, high temperature and high concentration carbonization reactor developed and produced by NELD is tested under the conditions of setting test environment, adjusting CO2 concentration, temperature, humidity and pressure, providing a reliable test environment for research institutions of CO2 carbon fixation, carbonization conservation and geological storage, as well as industrial production enterprises of rapid carbonization and product conservation.
