Description:
01.Sarolana is an isoxazoline antiparasitic drug that acts on neuromuscular junctions by inhibiting the function of γ-aminobutyric acid receptors and glutamate receptors, leading to loss of neuromuscular activity and death in mites or insects.
02.Sarolana is quickly absorbed orally. The plasma peak concentration (Cmax) was 1100ng/mL and the peak time (Tmax) was 3 hours for fasting dogs after oral administration of Sarolana chewable tablets at a dose of 2mg/kg.
03.Oral bioavailability in fasting and feeding dogs was 86% and 107%, respectively, and elimination half-lives (t1/2) were 10 and 12 days, respectively.
04.Sarolana is distributed systemic, has a high plasma protein binding rate (not less than 99.9%), has a very low metabolism in dogs, and is mainly excreted in its original form through bile and feces.
