EVOSIL®Bio-Based Silica
The product is made from renewable resources such as rice husk and straw using the carbon dioxide acidification process to produce anticaking agent  bio-based silica (also known as bio-based white carbon black / rice husk silica / rice husk white carbon black). It is a white, non-toxic, amorphous micro pearl substance. The product is an important inorganic silicon compound with excellent properties such as porosity, easy dispersion, light weight, good chemical stability, high temperature resistance, non-combustion, and good electrical insulation.

Application:
The bio-based silica can be used as an anti-caking agent, thickener, stabilizer and carrier for powder coatings and other products, a clarifying aid, an adsorption desiccant for flavors and fragrances, etc. Due to the submicroscopic structure and large specific surface area of silica, it can act as a spacer between the particles of the powder material and promote the flow of the powder material. This product has low moisture content and its hygroscopicity greatly enhances the anti-caking and hygroscopic effects.

It is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, production and sales of new bio-based silica materials. With the technical support of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and the strong scientific research team of Academician Zhang Liqun, the company has made breakthrough progress in the preparation of new bio-based silica materials technology after more than 10 years of joint research and development, and independently developed a complete set of process technology and related equipment for the preparation of bio-based silica by carbon dioxide acidification. This technology utilizes renewable resources such as rice husks and straw as raw materials, and uses carbon dioxide instead of sulfuric acid as a precipitation reagent to prepare bio-based silica with a specific surface area of 50 to 500m2/g. For every ton of bio-based silica used by customers, they can achieve a carbon reduction of 0.5 tons, thereby achieving the carbon reduction target.
The company has established the world's first 10,000 tons/year carbon dioxide acidification method for preparing bio-based silica demonstration production line, and plans to invest in 90,000 tons/year carbon dioxide acidification method for preparing bio-based silica production line.
