Clindamycin is a white crystalline powder with chemical formula C18H33ClN2O5S, molecular weight 424.98300 and melting point 141 ~ 143 C. Clindamycin is an antibiotic. Clinically, it is mainly used for abdominal and gynecological infections caused by anaerobic bacteria. Clindamycin is the first choice for the treatment of Staphylococcus aureus osteomyelitis.
FunctionClindamycin is indicated for the following infectious diseases caused by Gram-positive bacteria:
