Cold drawing machine
The cold drawing machine is mainly used for drawing ferrous and non-ferrous metal materials (pipes and bars) at normal temperature. The blank pipe (rod) becomes the finished pipe (rod) with the desired shape, diameter, precision and high mechanical properties strongly stretched by the machine. There are many types of cold drawing machines, which mainly are categorized as two types according to the different types of transmission, namely chain type cold drawing machine and hydraulic cold drawing machine.
Chain type cold drawing machine
The chain type cold drawing machine refers to that the drawing car is driven by a sprocket chain system, which has two main types, single-chained and double- chained.
Single- chained cold drawing machine
Performance specification
The main transmission of the single-chained drawing machine pulls the drawing car to work by only one chain. Presently, this kind of machine has been widely applied in the domestic cold drawing industry due to its simple structure and low manufacturing and using cost, but its main disadvantages are: low level of mechanization and automation, high working noise, and great labor intensity for operators.
