How does Bellafill work?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, naturally forming a scaffold of strength and structure to hold the bones, muscles, skin, and tendons together. Most of our skin is made up of collagen, and as people age the elastin and collagen fibers - which provide elasticity - become thicker and more clumped, resulting in inelastic, droopy, and brittle skin. After your twentieth birthday, your body will produce one less percent of the collagen in the skin with each passing year causing volume loss in the face, increasing the chances for wrinkles and folds to appear.
