A color masterbatch is a solid or liquid plastic additive used to color a plastic (color masterbatch) or to impart other properties to the plastic (additive masterbatch). Masterbatches are concentrated mixtures of pigments and/or additives that are encapsulated into a carrier resin during a heating process, then cooled and cut into pellets. The masterbatch enables processors to economically color the original polymer during the plastic manufacturing process.
Color masterbatch is basically used for drawing, plastic, pipe, blown film, injection molding, packaging, electrical shell, film, moisture material, clothing fiber and other products coloring and improve the unique performance. Color masterbatches are classified by carrier PE masterbatches, PP masterbatches, ABS masterbatches, PVC masterbatches, EVA masterbatches, PS masterbatches and other products with bright colors and uniform particles.
