Description:
The scalp vein set is ideal for blood sampling and injection of small amounts of infusion solutions. The needle includes wings for fixation/placement and includes a short tubing with a connectors. The device may be referred to as a butterfly needle or scalp vein needle. This is a single-use device.
Scope of application:
1. The single-use scalp vein set is used for puncture a vein to collect blood and/or for transient (<24 hours) administration of intravenous fluids.
2. Two wings ensure easy and secure positioning on the skin.
3. Flexible elastic extension tubing facilitates safe injection remote from the venous puncture site, thus reducing the risk of displacement.
4. Injection needles manufactured from high-grade stainless steel with a triple bevel edge guarantee atraumatic and painless vascular puncture.
