Camphor tablet / Camphor block
Camphor is an essential item for almost all religious functions in homes as an incense material. It is used in temples and during religious festivals. It has been the tradition of people to burn camphor while opening shops, offices and other commercial establishments. The major consumer is Hindu community. A lot of camphor is used as an ingredient for preparing Ayurvedic and Siddha medicines. Camphor tablet manufacturing can be started with a small investment and any layman can venture into this project. PRODUCT USES Camphor tablets are used by people all over the country for performing religious functions, auspicious occasions and day to day worship.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Raw camphor powder is moistened with water and tabletted in the tabletting machine and packed in polythene bags. The tablet can be made in any shape and size, usually round or square tablets 1 to 1.5 cm are made.

2.Burned with Aroma Lamps (Add few drops of water in the bowl along with a tablet)
4.Helps with relaxation in warm bath
5.Remove old cloths smell in closet
6.Keeps kitchen smelling fresh after cooking
Naphthalene ball
Naphthalene balls are extensively used as household preservative of woolen clothes and as a deodorant tablet for the toilets, urinals, bathrooms etc. These are manufactured from naphthalene flakes by a tablet making machine having its ball shape die. This industry which requires a little machinery and technical know how can profitably be started on a small scale.
Process Of Manufacturing
Naphthalene flakes are fed into a jacketed vessel in which temperature is maintained at 88 ° C and an agitator stirs the material. When naphthalene melts, other ingredients like paraffin wax, camphor etc. are added and mixed thoroughly. The liquefied mass is fed into the china ball press or aluminum mould. After cooling the naphthalene balls are taken out and packed.
