Freeze dryer (lyophilizer) is a method to freeze water containing substances into solid-state, and then sublimate the water from solid-state to a gaseous state, so as to remove water and preserve substances.
In the process of compressed air drying, its freeze-drying is to precipitate the water in the compressed air by reducing the temperature of the compressed air. The working principle of freeze dryer is the same as that of refrigerator.
