Pile Hammer How to Work?
The vibrating pile hammer employs high-frequency vibrations to energize the pile body with substantial acceleration. This generates vertical vibration, resulting in alterations to the surrounding soil structure, reducing its strength. As the soil liquefies around the pile, frictional resistance between the pile's sides and the soil diminishes. Utilizing the excavator's downward force, in tandem with the vibrating pile hammer and the weight of the pile itself, the pile is driven seamlessly into the ground. For extraction, vibration assists in lifting the pile using the excavator's lifting force. The excitation force required is meticulously determined based on site-specific conditions such as soil type, moisture content, and the type of pile construction.
