INDICATIONS

Piperacillin sodium sulbactam sodium for injection, indications are:

1. Respiratory tract infection: such as pneumonia, acute bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis with infection, acute lung abscess, bronchial asthma with infection, lung cyst with infection, etc.

2. Urinary tract infection: including simple urinary tract infection and complex urinary tract infection.

Adverse reactions

1. Gastrointestinal reactions: Like other antibiotics, diarrhea, loose stools, occasional nausea, vomiting, and flatulence may occur with this product. Pseudomembranous colitis is rare.

2. Skin reaction: Like penicillin and cephalosporins, this product can cause skin rash and itching.

3. Allergic reactions: Like penicillin and cephalosporins, this product can cause allergic reactions. Therefore, allergy history must be inquired before use, and those with penicillin allergy are prohibited.
