High Temperature Refractory Grade Chrome Oxide Green

Chrome oxide green is also knows as chromium sesquioxide and chromium hemirtrioxide,with molecular weight 151.99,hexagonal system,green powder,density 5.21g/cm3,mohs hardness 8.5-9.Chrome oxide green is insoluble in water,acid and organic solvents,slightly soluble in concentrated sodium hydroxide solution,soluble in hot sodium bromide solution,hot concentrated perchloric acid solution or boiling parathion.
Chrome oxide green,melting point 2265ºC,boiling point 4000ºC.it is excellent weatherability,thermostability,and stable for heat ,usually used in ceramic pigments,abrasives,metal surface polishing,green polishing compound,refractory materials.
We have three grades of chrome oxide green for refractory application ,with bulk density 0.6-0.8g/cm3 , 1.2-1.5g/cm3 and 5.0g/m3.
Chrome oxide green can be used directly or mixed with magnesium hydroxide and aluminum to produce a composite refractory material.It significantly improves the high performance strength,resistance to slag corrosion resistance,thermal shock resistance of materials and so on. Magnesium chrome,aluminum chrome and high-chrome refractory materials.General added corundum or corundum spinel refractories to be produced unshaped and castable refractory materials.
