There are two kinds of aramid commonly used in industrialization, para-aramid and meta-aramid. Para-aramid(PPTA) has a significant role and widely use in optical fiber and cable reinforcement materials. Because of its advantages in cost performance, it is often used as a reinforcing material for supporting optical fibers and cables. At present, indoor optical cables and power overhead optical cables (ADSS) also use aramid yarn as reinforcements, which can protect the optical fibers and cables. The optical fiber and cable industry is developing rapidly, and 5G construction brings imagination to aramid demand.
