High Voltage Drop-out Fuse Current Limiting Protection for Power Systems

(H) RW(F) series outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse (hereinafter referred to as "fuse") is a pinnacle of engineering designed specifically for the demanding needs of outdoor overhead distribution systems operating at a rated frequency of 50Hz with a rated voltage of 10kV (12/15/35/40.5). This fuse serves as an indispensable protective element for circuits and electrical equipment, safeguarding against the perils of overloads or short circuit faults within a power system. During regular operations, the fuse remains securely connected in series within the power line, ensuring resilience through its tensioned state and locked movable joint. In the event of a line failure, the fault current triggers the fuse to blow, releasing the movable joint, and swiftly dropping the fuse tube to sever the circuit. This instantaneous action provides essential safety protection, facilitating the maintenance of lines and equipment with ease. Enhanced with elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, the load type fuse surpasses ordinary types, adeptly managing the opening and closing of load currents within the power system.

The fuse is manufactured in strict adherence to prominent technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008 for high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, and DL / T 640 - 1997 for outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links ordering technical conditions. These standards ensure reliability and performance excellence.

Working Environment:

Ambient temperature: Encompasses extreme conditions, ranging from a chilling -40°C to a balmy +40°C;

Relative humidity: Maintains a daily average of no more than 95%, with a monthly average capped at 90%;

Altitude: Suitable for installations where the altitude does not exceed 3000m;

Outdoor wind speed: Designed to withstand wind speeds not exceeding 34 meters/second;

Installation site: Must be devoid of fire, explosion hazards, corrosive chemical gases, and should be situated in well-ventilated environments.
