Asynchronous motors are widely used in various sectors of the national economy. Direct starting of asynchronous motors poses issues such as low starting torque, high starting current, large impact on the power grid, difficulty in starting, significant impact on mechanical equipment, short motor lifespan, high maintenance workload, and high maintenance costs.
SSDHV high-voltage soft starters can reduce the voltage drop caused by direct motor starting, and the use of this product does not affect the normal operation of other devices on the grid. They can reduce the motor's inrush current, which can cause excessive localized temperature rise and reduce motor lifespan. Additionally, they can minimize the mechanical impact caused by direct starting, thus reducing wear on the driven machinery. They also decrease electromagnetic interference, as inrush currents can disrupt the normal operation of electrical instruments in the form of electromagnetic waves. High-voltage soft starters enable smooth starting and stopping, thereby improving operational efficiency.
The high-voltage soft starter unit includes the SSDHV-6 standard 6KV solid-state soft starter, the SSDHV-10 standard 10KV solid-state soft starte.
