Design features of the hollow cone nozzle:
Standard hollow cone spray nozzle feature a hollow cone spray pattern with a ring-shaped impact area. They produce a uniform distribution of small to medium-sized drops over a wide range of flow rates and pressures, hollow cone spray nozzle also feature large and unobstructed flow passages which minimize or eliminate clogging.
Common Application:
Washing gas and air to remove fly ash and other products of combustion
Gas cooling
Evaporative cooling in spray ponds and cooling towers
Gas scrubbing, washing, cooling
Metal treating
