PP honeycomb panel laminated with polyester tissue on both sides. This allow better bonding of the honeycomb to different surface panel. In addition to the tissue, honeycomb can laminated with a layer of PP film. The film under the tissue acts as a barrier to prevent resin leaking into the core thus save resin consumption in next assembly process Besides there is more stiffness plastic sheet with more thicker tissue.

Honeycomb cores are used in the fabrication of lightweight structures. The core material is typically 'sandwich' with plywood, aluminum, , FRP composite material, steel, granite, solid surface materials, paper etc. To attach the surface material to the honeycomb sheet, a bonding adhesive can be used or the materials can be laminated with polyester or epoxy systems. The resultant honeycomb panel results in one of the highest strength to weight core constructions available.
