Product Description
Equisetum arvense L. is a small and medium-sized fern of Equisetum arvense L. The rhizome is black brown, and the branches on the ground wither in the current year. The branches are dimorphic. Up to 35cm tall, yellowish brown, chestnut sheath brown or light yellow, chestnut brown, narrowly triangular, and the fertile branches can wither after the spores are scattered. Sterile shoots germinate, sheath teeth triangular, persistent. The lateral branches are soft and slender, flat, and the sporangium spike is cylindrical, with blunt top. The stalk elongates when mature.
It is distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Henan, Hubei, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet and other places in China. It is distributed in Japan, Korean Peninsula, Himalaya, Russia, Europe and North America. It is found on wet grassland, ditches, sandy land, cultivated land, hillsides and meadows with an altitude of 0-3700m.
Quercus quinquefolia is a unique ornamental fern with green stems and branches and peculiar shape. It is suitable for potted planting or planting in the garden beside the ditch.
