The Storage Of Wire Rope
Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight or heat exposure. Wire ropes should not be stacked in multiple layers within the warehouse. For long-term storage of large quantities, frequent inspections are necessary to prevent rust. Upon detecting rust, reapply lubricating oil immediately. If severe corrosion is found, the affected segment should be scrapped. For outdoor storage, place the ropes on dry ground, supported by boards, and protect them with a tarpaulin.
