Hot Rolled SUS 431 X17CrNi16-2 1.4057 AISI 431 Stainless Steel Round Bar
1: 431 steel introduction
Grade 431 stainless steels is a nickel-containing martensitic stainless steel, which has better corrosion resistance and mechanical properties than straight chromium stainless steel.
The higher carbon content makes it tend to form chromium carbide, and therefore the formation of chromium-depleted areas make 1.4057 material susceptible to intergranular corrosion. However, the surface polishing can improve its corrosion resistance.

6: Delivery condition
For hot forged bar, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed/solid solution, rough turned/Black surface.
For hot rolled bar, usually the delivery condition is hot rolled, annealed/solid solution, Black surface.
For hot rolled plate, usually the delivery condition is hot rolled, annealed/solid solution, black surface.
For cold drawn bar, usually the delivery condition is cold drawn, annealed/QT, peeled/black surface
