Description: Afoxolaner is an orally active isoxazoline insecticide/acaricide for canine lizards. Afoxolaner acts on gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors (GABA) and glutamate receptors in insects, inhibiting GABA - and glutamate-regulated chloride ions absorption, leading to excessive neuronal stimulation and arthropod death.
