Dimethoate, with chemical name of O, O-dimethyl-S - (N-methylcarbamoyl methyl) dithiophosphate and molecular formula of C5H12NO3PS2, is a common organophosphorus pesticide. It is easy to be absorbed by plants and transported to the whole plant. It is relatively stable in acidic solution and rapidly hydrolyzed in alkaline solution, so it cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides
Product uses
1. Dimethoate is a highly effective and broad-spectrum insecticidal and acaricidal agent with contact and internal absorption. It has higher toxic effect on a variety of pests, especially those with stinging mouthparts, and has a wide range of insecticides. It can control aphids, red spiders, leafminer, thrips, fruit flies, leaf bees, planthoppers, leafhoppers, and crustaceans. Dimethoate can infiltrate into plants and maintain its efficacy for about a week.
