Anterior resection of the external auditory canal shows the morphological structure of the external auditory canal. The temporal bone was cut horizontally to reveal the morphological structure of the ear and inner ear.
External ear: ear gallery, external auditory canal. Middle ear shows: tympanic membrane (removable), tympanic chamber, three ossicles (connected together and removable) Eustachian tube and mastoid cell. The inner ear (which can be removed as a whole) shows: three bony semicircular canals, vestibule and earwa.
