Silway 9201 is a linear polydimethylsiloxane with ethylene glycol terminated on both ends (block copolymer siloxane).
Various properties of Silway 9201, such as wear resistance, softness, etc., are better than the general polyether modified silicone oil with primary hydroxyl groups.
Unlike other block copolymer siloxanes, Silway 9201 does not contain excess unreacted monofunctional organic glycol which can impair the isocyanate reactivity of a polyurethane, resulting in a polyurethane with inferior crosslinking.

The general effective concentration of Silway 9201 is 1.0~5.0% of the formula weight. The specific amount depends on the type of formulations, solvents and resin systems.
It is recommended to add Silway 9201 to PU prepolymer formula in the front section.
