003-0606, is a type of 1080P Full HD USB 2.0 camera module featuring Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and night vision IR-Cut, widely used for security monitoring, access control system, face recognition system etc. The WDR scheme used is multi−exposure WDR. This allows the sensor to handle up to 96 dB of dynamic range. In WDR mode, the sensor sequentially captures two exposures by maintaining two separate reads and reset pointers that are interleaved within the rolling-shutter readout. The motorized (switchable) IR-CUT filter and infrared LED can be triggered by the photo resistor according to the light environment to be ON/OFF to block or pass the infrared light.This day&night vision and WDR camera is based on 1/2.7" AR0230 CMOS image sensor with advance 3.0µm pixel BSI technology from ON Semiconductor. It has S-mount (M12) lens holder which allows customers to choose and use the lens according to their requirement.

Wide Dynamic Range:
WDR is short for Wide Dynamic Range. The WDR technology is applied for viewing the image smoothly under the condition of severe light contrast. Broadly speaking, it stands for the possible range of certain changing object or an area the minimum value and the maximum value spans that can be seen. WDR allows an imaging system to correct for the intense back light surrounding a subject and thus enhances the ability to distinguish features and shapes on the subject. This camera has a 96DB ultra wide dynamic range.
Day/Night Vision: IR-CUT filter is a mechanical and motor drive component inside of camera. Camera built-in IR-CUT filter can provide true day/night video surveillance. It can provide day mode and night mode switching automatically. In night mode, the inside filter will remove, hence allowing unnatural lights (ie.,Infrared) enter into image sensor to enhance low illumination performance. In day mode, the inside filter will be inserted between lens and image sensor to filter unnatural lights enter into image sensor, therefore to provide true color reproduction crisp images.

2. If you would like to find a camera support both Mic and H.264, maybe you could try 003-0394(2MP) or 003-0404(3MP);
3. While apply to the application like large LED screen, 003-0689 might better for you as it has a narrow size with 60*13mm;
