FN18 is a general purpose, three-pole, load break switch that offers switchgear owners and assemblers the advantages of an advanced interrupting technology and proven, dependable performance in a compact design. The switch is available to switchgear assemblers as a building block for metal-enclosed and pad-mounted switchgear applications in ratings from 12-40.5 kV.
The standard FN18 switch includes a heavy-duty steel frame with stand-off insulators, a unique puffer-type arc extinguishing system, an operating mechanism and current-carrying components, including blade-type interrupters with cast hinges and jaw connectors.
Optional accessories and features include a variety of operating handles, a motor operator, auxiliary switches, a shunt trip device, fuse bases, mechanical fuse tripping, grounding switches, mechanical door interlocking and key interlocking.

FN18 series indoor high-voltage load switch has the advantages of easy design, operation, compact structure, small volume, full function, light weight, fast breaking and closing speed and high reliability. It is suitable for AC 50Hz, rated voltage 12kV, 24kV, rated current 630A and three-phase distribution system, especially for city network construction and renovation projects, high-rise buildings, ring network power supply of public facilities, and is an ideal product for box-type substation and transformer protection.

Working Environment:

1. The altitude does not exceed 1000m.
2. The ambient air temperature: Maximum+40ºC; Minimum: General Area-30ºC, Paramos-40ºC.
3. The wind pressure does not exceed 700Pa. (Corresponding to 34m/s wind speed).
4. The earhtquake intensity does not excees & degrees.
5. The working situation without frequent viloent vibration.
6. The installation site of ordinary type isolatir should be kept away from gas, smoke chemical deposition, salt-spray fog, dudt and other explosive and corrosive maters that affect seriously insulation and conection capability of the isolator.
Pollution-proof type isolator is apploes to severe filthy conduction area, however, It shouldn't be any explosive matters and matters causing fire.
