Caustic soda (NaOH), also known as sodium hydroxide is a strong, clear to hazy, liquid base. It is produced (along with chlorine and hydrogen) via the diaphragm or newer membrane electrolytic process, yielding a high purity caustic soda solution.

Application:
1.production of paper making and fiber pulp;
2.production of soap, synthetic detergents and synthetic fatty acid as well as the refining of plant and animal oil;
3.as the desizing agent, scouring agent and mercerizing agent for cotton in textile and dyeing industries;
4.the production of borax, sodium cyanide, formic acid, oxalic acid, phenol and so on;
5.the refining of petroleum products and used in the drilling fluid of oil field in petroleum industry;
6.as the acid neutralizer, peeling agent, decolorant and deodorant for food products in food industry;
7.as alkaline desiccant.
Packing:
25KG/plastic woven bag, 26MT/20' FCL container ,or as per customers' special requirement.
Storage:
1.Stored in ventilated and dry warehouse or shed and the container must be sealed
2.Avoiding mixing and transporting with combustibles and acids
3.Avoiding rain and moisture during transportation
4.Don not use glass cork but rubber plugs when stored in glass bottles, or it is difficult to open after the reaction between caustic soda and silicon dioxide.
