The VL140 pneumatic drifter is installed in Ingersoll Rand ECM350 top hammer pneumatic crawler rock drilling rig. It is provided a powerful drive for the rapid and reliable hammering action. A dependable and durable geared motor as well as an independent rotation device further ensure outstanding drilling performance. The drifter can withstand severe working conditions, and can also easily handle a wide range of jobs involving various kinds of rock.
The VL140 Drill is a 5-1/2" bore, valveless, remotely controlled, pneumatic percussion drill equpped with a remotely controlled, air-powered, independent rotation motor to rotate the drill steel and bit. This design permits the efficient use of a hammer drill for all types of ground formations.
