Insecticide Acaricide Dursban Chlorpyrifos 50% +Cypermethrin 5% EC
Chlorpyrifos is a neurotoxic agent that primarily targets the nervous system of pests. Once the chemical enters the insect's body, it inhibits the activity of acetylcholinesterase, disrupting the normal conduction of nerve impulses and leading to the death of the pest. It has multiple modes of action, including contact, stomach, and fumigation, but it does not have a systemic effect. Chlorpyrifos acts quickly and has a long residual period; while its residue duration on crop leaves is relatively short, it remains in the soil for a longer time. Therefore, it is particularly effective in controlling underground pests, with a residual efficacy that can last over 30 days.
Cypermethrin, as a broad-spectrum insecticide with poisoning effects of touch and stomach, is effective against a wide range of pests. It is effective against lepidopteran pests, especially for pests resistant to organophosphorus insecticides. In addition, cypermethrin is also repellent and has a certain killing effect on the eggs of some lepidopteran pests.
