Mode of action
Aluminum phosphide is usually used as a broad-spectrum fumigation insecticide, mainly used for fumigation and storage of pests, a variety of space pests, grain storage pests, grain storage pests, outdoor rodents in caves, etc. . After absorbing water, aluminum phosphide will immediately produce highly toxic phosphin e gas, which enters the body through the respiratory system of insects (or animals such as mice), acts on the respiratory chain of cell mitochondria and cytochrome oxidase, inhibits its normal breathing and kills . In the absence of oxygen, phosphin e is not easily inhaled by insects, and it does not show toxicity. In the case of oxygen, phosphin e can be inhaled and kill insects. Insects can produce paralysis or protective coma in high concentrations of phosphin e and reduce breathing. The preparation products can be fumigated raw grain, finished grain, oil and dried potatoes. If the seeds are fumigated, the moisture requirements of different crops are different.
Application range
In a sealed warehouse or container, it can directly eliminate all kinds of grain storage pests, and can kill the rats in the warehouse. Phosphin e can also be used for mites, lice, leather coats, down-worm insects on household and store items, or to avoid pest damage. Used in sealed greenhouses, glass houses, and plastic greenhouses, it can directly kill all underground and above-ground pests and mice, and can penetrate into plants to kill borer pests and root baseline insects. Thick sealed plastic bags and greenhouses can be used to treat open flower bases and export potted flowers, kill nematodes in the ground and plants and all kinds of pests on plants.

Instructions
Take the 56% preparation as an example:
1. 3 to 8 slices per ton of stored grain or goods; 2 to 5 slices per cubic meter of hoarding or goods; 1-4 slices per cubic meter of fumigation space.
2. After steaming, open the tent or plastic film, open the doors and windows or the vent gate, use natural or mechanical ventilation, fully disperse the air, and expel the poisonous gas.
3. When entering the warehouse, use 5% ~ 10% silve r nitrat e solution impregnated with test paper to check the toxic gas, only when there is no phosphin e gas.
4. The fumigation time depends on the temperature and humidity. It is not suitable for fumigation below 5ºC; 5ºC~9ºC is not less than 14 days; 10ºC~16ºC is not less than 7 days; 16ºC~25ºC is not less than 4 days ; No less than 3 days above 25ºC. Smoking and killing voles, 1 or 2 per mouse hole.
