Furidan is a N-methyl carbamate. It is a contact and systemic pesticide that operates by inhibiting cholinesterase. Carbofuran is registered as a restricted use broad spectrum insecticide, nematicide, and miticide for use on a wide variety of agricultural and nonagricultural crops.
Carbofuran is a broad-spectrum, high-efficiency, low residue, high-toxic carbamate insecticide, acarcide, and nematicide. It has the effects of systemic absorption, contact killing, and stomach toxicity, and has a certain oviogenous effect, and has a longer duration of effect. Generally, the half-lift in the soil is 30 to 60 days.
